Yaaaa...people into other's business and a lot do not understand how sensitive horses are.

I get an earful from the vet every time I bring my dogs in. Says they are over weight. All started when I had kids, the dogs found that sitting under the kids high-chairs is a good place to be.

I'd do the same as far as throwing food over the fence. They won't get sick and die like a horse from it either. I'm an animal lover, I have to turn the channel when those abused animal commercials come on.

If we really want to help our children/animals/country in general, then quit giving aide to anyone and everywhere that comes begging. Do we really need to give that billion plus to the Ukraine government when we have some many domestic problems. Lets take care of our own first. God knows other countries would sit back and watch if we ever needed help.

        Ok. :/

There aren't many starving children in this country and when there are it's usually parental irresponsibility. Ones treatment of a defensive animal is a good indicator of how one will treat people, so it's definitely warranted .
Yessir I can see ur point and agree with what you are saying.

I hate to sound mean, but if a dog misses a meal every now and then it's not that big of a deal. I they miss for day in a row then maybe I start to get worried.

Y'all could always offer to buy the dog back....
I had a lab mix show up at my house (in the middle if nowhere) 9 yrs ago she was at our house for 3 weeks when a man showed up claiming her. When he got out of his truck the dog ran off I could tell he had probably beaten her a couple of times by the way she was shaking so I told him my son was attached to her and I would love to buy her from him and it worked she stayed and he left happy.....
