Anyone do it to make a little extra spend money? I'm not planning on it but I have a few Indian guys who work for me who do a couple hours of it each night. They said they make an extra 150-200/month.

Look up mechanical Turk. You login on amazon, do some cheap HITs (human intelligence tasks) and get paid. Some are things like taking contact info off business cards, itemize receipts, etc. After you complete 1000 hits, you qualify for higher paid ones.Comment

They do about 2 hrs each weekday and who knows on the weekend. I think initially it works out to be something like 1.50-2/hr but as you build up you get better paying hits available.Originally posted by Booner Sooner View PostComment

OK after a few drinks and the kids in bed, I had to try this out to see what it was about. I've made about a $1 for about 30 min of web surfing. Started by taking contact info off business cards and putting them into a form. Then tried the itemize a receipt. Then I took a psych test. Finally I had 5 hits and could do the ranking of sites from google searches. Basically all I had to do was stuff like go to google, type "miracle ear" and find the page and position on the page of thdeir website, their facebook, twitter, Wikipedia, etc. Then had to go to each of those and answer a few question like date/time of most recent tweet.
My time is worth way more to me than I guess those Indian guy's time are, but if you need a few extra $ and have a couple hours a day that you could spend doing this. You could make a little supplemental income by doing it. Not the highest paid task but can do it your underwear, while drinking, and watching a game on TV. Having 2 monitors helped speed it up too.Comment
