I have two boys, now 21 and 17. They grew up with hunting, fighting, and football. My new wife has a 10 year old girl, and she scares me to death! Man boys are easy, girls are from another planet. It's been a new experience for me. That little girl knows how to get her way with this old man. She's a girly girl, but i'm working on her. She got her first bow for Christmas, and I took her to the stand with me last season. If anyone has kids don't pass up the chance to teach them , AND THEIR FRIENDS, about the great outdoors. My sons bring their city friends up to my place in the woods all the time. They camp out, build fires, cook, shoot guns, etc. For some of the city boys this is their only experience away from city lights and concrete. Time in the woods is always time well spent.

She has 4 brothers...ages 31,27 and two 15 year old twins so boys I'm used to. I depend on her mom a whole lot to help with the girl stuff but she pretty much has me and her brothers wrapped !!. She can certainly hold her own at the lease though. She has her own bow and you ought to see her mothers face when she tells her she wants to "whack a pig "

                              Amen brutha!

After spring break, my 8 year old daughters teacher asked us parents to send them pics of what they did. Keep in mind, my daughter is a girly girl also. The kids in her class were all amazed that she was in the woods digging in the mud with a shovel...decked out in camo and waterproof snake boots. I'm grateful that I can raise my girl and boy that way.

Oh, daddy daughter dance tomorrow also.
