Went to my place last night after work with my friend Matt, My son and my Dad. My dad called and said hey can your cousin come also, I was like sure. I dropped matt off 1st then the rest of us walked to our stands. My dad and son hunted together and my cousin and I hunted together. I got the FoxPro out and started calling we called and called and called and no luck. About 20 minutes before dark we both seen a big cat cross the road and of course there was no shot. I turned the FoxPro back on and called for like 5 to 10 minutes and no luck. By this time is was completely dark and I said lets try calling again so I changed sounds. We were using our red lights scanning in the area he was at and then bam I see eyes, sure enough it was him. It was so cool watching him sneak in to the call, once he got about 60/70 yards I asked him are you ready and he said yup. When he shot he jumped like 2 feet and we heard him run in the brush and we listened and then didn't hear him run anymore. I knew he had got him. We waited about 30 minutes and of course my son and dad came and we went and found him. I knew we wouldn't find no blood as he shot him with my 17hmr. We walked in the brush about 15 yards or so and I was like here he is, Brandon was so excited he has only killed 1 deer in his life so he was super stoked!! I told him I have friends that have hunted their whole lives and never even seen one and you get one the first time we call one
