Pure garbage. Stuff like that makes me sick, it was as bad up north with imminent domain for new highway bypasses. Watched land that made money in crops get turned into new taxes over night. Fields gone, wildlife gone, family homesteads destroyed. Makes trying to find my piece of the American dream seem like a nightmare these days.

Fight it....OUR government!!! So sad. As a county farm bureau president for TxFB I would encourage you to become member to help protect a lot of what we all enjoy through numbers and an outstanding organization. You don't have to buy insurance or live in a farm/ranch to be a member!!!

I have family in Montague county that ranch along the Red River and have been there since the late 1800's. To think that the federal government can just stroll in and declare that the land is theirs is reprehensible.

Same thing happens all over the country. Family farm in MS and the govt has taken ownership of several acres through our property and other landowners. You can't fight the GOVT. They will use YOUR tax dollars to fight you. You will NOT win. Its a hopeless feeling..and makes you lose respect for the very nation in which we are supposed to love and fight for.

I hope county Sheriff and other local law/politicians step in. Just like that sheriff did on "enemies of the state" on Fox News.

The sheriff told the federal government that his SWAT team and sheriffs will be waiting for them to protect their citizens.
