Looking for water pump at cabin

Have 3 different 50 gallon barrels we catch water in at a remote cabin. I have a 12 volt pump like you'd see on a spray rig but wanted to look in to a 110 unit that will run off generator when needed. Anybody have this setup or recommendations???

Northern Tool has one in the mid $200.00 range, its a shallow well pump and has good reviews. Thats the one i am gonna buy for my cabin water soon.

I use one that I got from Harbor Frieght that cost $78. It is hooked up to my rain water collection system and will spray water a long way.

I would stick with the 12 volt pump and just get a 12 volt converter.

              converter cost around $20

The only thing with the shallow well pump is you will also need a bladder and if it doesn't come with a psi switch you will need one of those as well. Grundfos makes a bladder less on demand style pump we use that's extremely quiet and rugged comes in 110/220 in 3/4" or 1" models

I have a 110 V transfer pump from Northern tool. Used it a few times to transfer water to travel trailer @ lease a couple years ago. Works great.

Don't use it. May be interested in selling.

Harbor Freight has one with a pressure tank for about $80. I bought one for my camp. Works great just keep it out of the weather.

THIS is the pump you need. Works just like the ones in travel trailers, but runs on 110. It has a built in pressure switch and only comes on when you turn on the faucet, self priming, etc. We've had this one in a shower house feeding out of 55gal. barrels for 4 or 5 years now without issue.
