Two folks, a long crow bar, and a 12 pack...for each one....

I too use rebar but bend it in a pipe bender first so it has a 90 on the bottom to fit the anchor, and two 90s on top to act like a crank. Clear as mud?

One of those heavy duty drill type mortar mixers, easy on the trigger though don't wanna spin a wrist

We've used 3-4' ones for a center anchor on tower blinds. It took 3-4 guys and a 6' bar and a lot of dizzy work to get them down.

I use those to tie stands down and I have found no easy way to do it. Some kind of cheater bar will make it easier. the longer the better . Journeymans idea sounds good also.

I think the rebar and two people is about only way to go. The one thing that did help was while taking a break pour a decent amount of water to help soften the ground up. I laughed at the dizzy comment I about fell my arse down when I really got going.

Years ago dad made an adapter for a Rigid Power Drive. Sticks'em in the ground pretty easily, but you better be hangin on to it.
