Anyone have input on Overall Taxidermy out of New Caney? How is his quality and customer service? Especially with African species.

He has done all my mounts, from my first buck to my last one I shot. He has done all of my dads deer as well. I would recommend him from my stand point.

Stop by his store and look in the back, he should
Have some Axis and Blackbuck mounts up.
They look preety good! My neighbor uses him all the time.

Nice guys and good work. When I take them their deer corn for the store I always go see what's new.

he does all of my work and most of my family and friends work. i went to high school with him so i know him. Lowell Shapely does all of his birds for him.

Ricky does good work on big animals and like SS said, Lowell does his birds....In my opinion, Lowell's birds are as good as it gets. I've never had a problem and he's done a lot of stuff for me and my friends.

I did not know about this place but am liking the reviews from the people in our area. I have used a guy that has a drop off place in Humble for my last two bucks. He does good work but his pricing has gone up quite a bit. I don't mind paying for good work though. Nothing worse than a messed up mount.

Did not know they went up that much. Prob justifies the price increase.

doing good deer doesn't mean he has African experience. African taxidermy has it's own set of issues not usually encountered with north american animals. If you are serious about african stuff, make sure you ask to see references of his African work.

I know he does a lot of African animals. I'm not well-enough versed in African animals to know whether they are perfect or not, but they look great and he always has them in his shop.

I had a bobcat done. And it's good. I worked with a guy that uses them all the time they have a ranch. And they love his work. All their customers use him as well.
