My son wants me to turn him loose on our ZTR. That dang thing is so big, fast, and powerful that it scares me sometimes! I'm afraid he'd mow through my travel trailer.

7 is not too young to get started. I used to have to push mow my yard growing up with a mower that you had to rewind the pull string each time if it did not start. Backyard was so big it took me about 2.5 hours each time.
Oh, and never got an allowance for it either.Comment

Man I couldn't wait to mow the yard, guess it was kinda a right of passage for me.
Hmmm... Now that I think about it, I think maybe my dads just smarter than me and tricked me into thinking that way
now that we live in the same town again I'm still mowing his yard, I thought it was because he is 75 but I may have to question him about it

Enjoy it while it last. Mine have all been grown and gone for over 10 yrs now. That big beautiful yard we had to have for the "KIDS" is now my weekly nightmare. Wish momma would let me put in green concrete
