I was offered a job over the phone on Wednesday (they canceled my last interview to offer me the job) and was told I could call back the next morning to give them my decision. I left a message on the person's voice mail early on Thursday morning informing her I would take the position. She called back at noon and said all they had was part time left and that the position I was offered was "sold" out from under me. Needless to say I was madder than all get out!!! I talked to 3 other "supervisors" and vented my frustrations, never really got a real answer as to why except for the fact that they said they were pressured to fill the spot quickly. At least they kept calling me back to tell me the not so good news (they could not rescind the offer to the person that accepted the position I was offered). Not much of an apology. Maybe it is for the better and something else could be in the works for me by the good Lord. Sorry, but I had to vent.

Happened to me one time. I had a manager that offered me a promotion and I excepted it. I was on my days off and when I came back he had filled it with a new found friend of his. He couldn't even look me in the eye like a man and say anything much less an apology. You are better off in the long run staying away from two faced people like that. I wish you luck.

At least you found out what kind of people they are before you invested a bunch of time with them
If they were running you around before you started just think what it would have been like after you got the job.
I can't stand it when people don't keep their word.
