    Any have/had Danner boots?

Looking for a pair for hunting/hiking in the high desert. I tried the ones below on and they fit pretty good except being a little stiff (to be expected from new leather).
So what say the GS? Do they break in easy? Are they worth the extra coin over Wolverine or Gamewinner?
    Thanks!

There are so many better choices out there than danners. You're a guide, right?

      Like what?

I have some Danner Pronghorns and they are great boots. They have worn well for the last two years, so I think they are worth the extra $ for sure.

No experience with those in your link but the pronghorns were not good at all when I used them on my aoudad hunt near Big Bend. Noticed hotspots very quickly and tend to slide more than usual going down a steel grade (and yes mine fit properly). I found myself stopping to take my boots off every couple miles for some comfort.

Love my Pronghorns. The most comfortable boots that I have. I have used them for several seasons.

I wear pronghorns every day to work in, and I have now for about 3 years. Yep their good boots. Good luck on your choice.

I have a pair of danger lite hiker II's that I bought in 1999- I would wager I have walked over 1 mill miles in them, everywhere from urban streets to rocky mountsil trails, texas cactus pastures & Kansas grassy rolling hills. Not a sinlgle problem.

But these are the original -Made in 'Merica Danners- not post buy out Danners. I have heard that the product quality changed after that.
