Freak Axis Buck

At first glance I thought there was just another buck behind this one. Then my son pointed out that it was actually just one odd looking Axis buck. Never seen one like this before. If he makes it to full grown stage this year and out of velvet he may just end up on the wall. I think It would make a pretty cool looking mount.

I will be trying to get him the weekend of the 17th. I appreciate all the positive comments on him. Hopefully all the good lucks will be put to work. Don't really have room in the freezer for him but If I find him...He will be taking a dirt nap. (Hopefully)..... Would love for my son or wife to get him but I guess we shall see when the time comes.

I got one in velvet several years ago. Man...talk about stinking.... My wife made me leave the mount outside for every bit of two years before it could even come in the house. Haha...
