    Random airline thought...

Why do airlines board planes front to rear, bassackwards to me. Even more efficient in my mind would be load passengers by window 1st, center, then aisle. Would eliminate the climbing over each other cuz the aisle & center seats were in group 1.

Just seems like if they miss logic as simple as this it's no wonder they are all going broke.

I'm glad to be home from Detroit.

I agree. But that would make sense. And mess some folks sense of entitlement.

Only problem with that is everytime I have been on a plane I always just picked a random open seat as the one on my ticket was taken because no one sat in their respective seats.

Yes makes sense to me, that way obnoxious people who take forever to get their luggage overhead don't block the line getting on.

I don't know only flied 8 times and had the right seat twice that I can think of. Maybe I just have chronic bad luck with planes.

I like the membership where you can board early and sit down, then get off the flight. Some jack wagons sitting in the back will stuff their luggage in the front because they are too lazy to carry it back. Those with assigned seats up front can not find room. Now it is lime salmon swimming upstream trying to get back to the rear of the aircraft to retrieve a bag.

I check most bags but always carry a change of clothes to eliminate Murphy's Law.

Loading the front of the aircraft I prefer. Southwest Airlines is cattle coach so I never fly SWA, plus they are limited on some destinations.
