How is it my 4 and 6 yr old can have better manors then some peoples teenagers??
Take the family out to eat tonight and the teens at the table behind us think it is appropriate to have a burp competition and their parents obviously had no issue with it! The first time one of them burped my 4 yr old son said excuse you and they just laughed. This went on for several minutes their kids burping back and forth and laughing until I finally made eye contact with the dad and he could see my frustration. Sorry, rant over!

My dad would have dragged me out of there and used his belt on me. It's one thing to act like that at home with family but public is never ok in my book. That'd ruin my evening for sure.

My dad would've stabbed me with his fork for bad table manners (ironic, yes). Bet those kids were the same ones who their parents have them video games to play with at the table when they went out to eat when they were younger. Some parents just don't engage their kids and act like parents!
