I practically grew up on this lake as a kid and had caught more fish out of it than I can remember, but ever since the lake went low I haven't had much luck at all since the lake went low. I plan on heading up to fish for a week at the end of April. Those of ya'll that are still having success, what tips can you give me? Used to tear the catfish up on C&J punch bait but now they avoid that stuff like the plague.

Wore out the whites there saturday on traps. Did well on crappie over brush last year, havent got after them yet this year. Skipping this weekend but plan on being there the two weekends after -
Back in February we tore up the catfish on punchbait. Caught about 150 in a couple days. I also heard that they were catching the heck out of whites this week just outide of Overlook Marina, and Saturday there were 20 boats fishing one spot.Comment

I was out there this past Friday, the whites had moved from the big creek park side to the rocky creek park on the west side. It was getting tons of hits on a white H&H spinner. Had to throw about half of them back, they were just too small. Did get to keep 11. It will be out there the next two Fridays if the wind stay down.Comment
