It will depend a lot on factors such as fences in place and water in place, but for cows and pairs, $15 - $20 per head per month is pretty common.

20$'s per acre in Mills county is common. Prices like they are it will probably go up.

Our stocking rate here is about 40 acres / animal unit. On a 2500 acre ranch, $20 per acre is $50,000 a year to run about 65 pairs. At $20 per head per month, that's $15,600 per year for those 65 head or about 6.25 an acre. Like I said before, there are a lot of factors that come into play.
