Can somebody tell me how to remove T-posts?

Well, after almost 15yrs, it looks like I am finally losing my lease to the oilfield. I have two feeder pens and I want to take them down and reclaim the T-posts. I do not have a tractor. Can someone please tell me how to get those things out of the ground without killing myself?

    Any info would be appreciated!

Just buy a T post puller. They work great and then all your friends can borrow it and you might not ever see it again.

T post puller or just tie a chain around the bottom of the t pose and run it over an old tire rim and pull it with your truck or UTV.

If you got a t post driver put it on the ground and lean the open end towards the teeth on the tpost. Push the tpost back and let the driver grab on a tooth, pull back on the tpost and it will jack it right up out of the ground. Or a winch truck or tractor work better.

Old truck rim and a chain. Tie the chain to the base of the post, put the wheel up next to the post standing upright. Put the chain over the rim and pull with the truck. The wheel keeps the direction of pull going up and let's the chain easily roll over the top. Have the rim rolling towards the vehicle.

That's our way, works great and will pull bigger posts in concrete out, as well.

just chain them to your truck bumper and drive off.
