Garage Addition ?

Anyone ever added a bump out to the back of a garage? I'm needing extra garage space maybe 4' out and 10' wide.

I would do more than u think u need now and do it once.

Are u in an area that requires hurricane straps etc? If your going to permit the job they might make u bring the rest of the garage up to current code.

It will be cheaper to buy a pre fab metal shop than adding a 4x10 to your garage

Trying to make room for a boat. I00 bucks a month storage fee seems worthless to me...
I dont really need 4x10 , just would be nice to have extra storage.
I actually just need a pocket that a outboard can slide into.
