eotech question

Okay so I just got my new eotech in and I install the batteries and turn it on with great expectations and then a little let down that the holograph is not nearly as sharp as I thought it would be. I thought it was a little pixelated from what I had in my mind.

So my question is. Is this the norm? Or are the lines supposed to be as sharp as they look on the website?

if its like mine, you should have 2 arrow buttons, one up and one down. these adjust the brightness and the sharpness. try adjusting the down one. it takes away the brightness and makes it more crisp. from my experience, the lines don't look as sharp as they do on the website. its still pretty easy to hold on the center of a skoal-can-size target at 50-75 yards though. i didn't have to pay for mine so i can live with it.

Yeah, I think that's normal. Adjust the brightness as described above. Love mine.

If your using proper sight technique it will not matter Mr. T....your sight will be a bit blurry and your target will be in focus....LOTS OF PRACTICE!!!

The Eotech is designed for CQB and quick target aquisition. I believe it clears up a lot from what I've been told if you add a magnifier behind it for long range work. But like has already been said, turn it down a notch or two and it will clear up some. I wish there was a way to adjust the default power on brightness. Mine is too bright in most conditions except outdoors where it is about right.

The only complaint about my Eotechs are the way you turn them off. Kind of a pain!!!!
