    Mud Blockers

I am looking for some mud blockers to keep the obvious out of certain areas like the battery. I have a 2014 Polaris Ranger 800 single cab and was wondering if anyone has any input. I am looking at DJ Fabrications at the moment but not sure if there are anymore options.

    Any help here????

    Thanks in advance..

I used some scrap aluminium checker plate to cover the 'honey comb' holes under the bed. What was left I had intentions of putting in front of the rear wheels to keep it from getting under the seating area. I can say Ive never really had a lot of mud under the hood with the battery.

Extreme metal products made something of the sort when I bought my boot guards but I dont see them listed on their site?

Look over on PRCforums.com tons of ranger stuff

edit: below similar to what I made for the bed

Thanks for the tip. I may end up making something myself but wanted to explore some other custom options first. My battery is under the drivers seat. There is a large opening from the rear and with my lights and winch being routed to the batt it may play well to protect as much as possible. i see the demo you are talking about, this will work for sure. DJ Fabrications use to make these as well but they informed me last night that they could not sell enough so they stopped production..... So the search continues... thanks again..

Never heard of mud blockers but my 2006 RTV 900 has what the original owner called stick stoppers. These are diamond plate bolted on to protect the boots on the CV joints.

I've been looking as well for my new Ranger. Most things I found on PRC forums was sheet aluminum, mud flaps and the like.

Quacker said it best. Just use some scrap or go to a local sheet metal place. Take the measurements to them and they should be able to fab you some cheaper than those from DJ Fabrications.
