    Feeder Lights

Can anyone give me input on how to introduce pigs to a feeder light? I've read a motion sensor may not be a good idea based on them spooking... maybe running it on dusk through dawn? I'm wanting to start hunting my lease and am seeing the majority of activity at night.

No problem with them spooking after the first week

Turn it on and throw the corn. They'll get used to it pretty quick. I've beer used a motion sensor on.

Just hang it up and let it run all night. They will get used to it sooner then you think. Never been a problem with me. I've used bow mounted lights, feeder light, motion, and on all night. All have worked.

I use cheap solar spot lights. Just hang em and let 'er rip.

This is the way I do it--they have a solar panel and a photocell. Turn on at dusk, run 5-6-7 hours, and recharge the next day. Takes pigs around here about 2-3 nights to get used to them.

I use the solar landscape lights, not too bright but bright enough.
