So this past Sunday morning I take off for the lake at 5 a.m. ready for a relaxing day of tournament bass fishing. At 6 a.m., I find myself in a heep on the metal handicap ramp leading up to the boat dock. It had been raining and as I stepped across the ramp my right foot slipped out from under me and my left foot slid across the sharp edge of the ramp. To make matters worse, apparently my teeth jammed together as I hit the ground and I chipped one of my front teeth. After a couple of my hillbilly buddies applied a temporary bandage, I hit the water with a few aches and pains but in tact.
I had a decent day until the final straw occured at 11 a.m. when I hooked an 8 lber. and watched her jump 3 times next to the boat only to have the hook fly out of her mouth on the 3rd jump. At that point, I loaded the boat and went to Minor Emergency.
I hope Thursday will be good to me!!

After a few stitches and a tetanus shot I am back in business!!
