Another hunting phone app question

Early I asked if anyone has every called in turkeys with a phone app, now I'm wondering if anyone uses predator or coyote hunting apps to call in coyotes? I already have an external speaker ready to go just wondering if predator apps work for varmint hunting? Just tryin to save some money and go the cheap way!
