Yesterday's 3d tourney was my third time shooting 3d since I started shooting with bow.
First one was two years ago, I shot horrible and had a target panic so bad. Lol
I never went back because of ranch work and responsibilities. Busy schedules and all.
This year I was determined to commit to 3d tourneys. Started off with local first. So I can work my way up.
Last month, I drove up and saw bunch of shooters with bino. I was like just great. I was determine to just shoot and have fun. Shot 267.
Yesterday, I came prepared but except it was so windy 25-30 miles an hour and cold! I only wore a dry wick tshirt! Go figure. That was one thin shirt to be wearing when everyone bundled up. Again, I was determined to stay and finish strong as much as I could.
I brought Ben who is also a member on here. His first time and I think the bug bit him hard!
We had a great time shooting the 3d.
Shot 279 plus a bonus round which was a unknown distance. It was probably between 60-65 yards. Allows one mulligan. One arrow hit in the back of the target. Second one, I had to dial a little bit down to 65 yards approx because I've only marked 50 yards on my sight tape so it was a wild guess on putting the line further down from 50 yard marker. Shot 8 ring and earn double points. It came to 295. It came down to wire.
