    Welder fuel pump help?

Tryin to get my grandmas Bobcat 225 running and right now I've determined that the fuel pump isn't pumping. Anyone know of a good place to get one or actual model numbers for it. Has the Kohler motor and prob mid to late 90s model welder if that helps. Here's a pic of the pump.

I just replaced the one on my Bobcat with an electric pump from Napa. It was cheaper than the vacuum pump that you have pictured, they're over one hundred dollar.
Napa had two low volume pumps and I bought the lowest, I should have bought the higher volume because now I have to run with the choke out a little. If you go this route be sure to plug the vacuum port on the crankcase.

Carb should have a mfg and M/n stamped on it. (i.e. Walbro ******)

Take that # to small engine shop, NAPA, or website of your choice.

Those kinds of pumps don't pick up gas well when they run out. If it ran out of gas, you may be able to prime it from above and get it to run.

The Briggs part number on that pump is 808656 and the Kohler part number is 24 393 16-s. I sell them for around $20 if you can't find one let me know and i'll get one to you.

Well it hast been ran since the last hurricane that blew through down there. It had fuel in the line and in the carb but it was really bad. I've bout tore it all apart finding all the gremlins in it

Thanks man, I'll look into that. I haven't noticed part # on it is te reason I've been kinda lost and couldn't find an exact match online.

Haha it's pretty much all that's left over from her logging empire back in the day. She only uses it for a generator when hurricanes come through now a days. The leads had more dust than insulation on them
