I've heard and read some of the eerie stories from there! It's pretty cool and some creepy to hear those stories!

you might want to double check before anyone heads down there. It is closed to beach traffic due to the oil spill...

Had a friend find a big ole bale of weed that floated up. Called border patrol and they thoroughly searched his truck, like seats and everything else removed and left on the beach, then they said thanks for calling it in and drove off with the weed. Definitely a wild place. Also watch out for rattlesnakes!

Sorry I'm just responding! It was SLOWW fishing lat weekend! Weather was beautiful but heavy winds and semi rough water kept us from really doin much good! Tried to run a couple baits out Friday evenin but just to rough to paddle much past the 3rd sand bar! Figured it would calm down overnight and woke up early Saturday morning to heavy wind and even rougher waves! Packed up mid day Saturday and headed to packary and finished out!

This was my first trip down the sand and despite slow fishing had a blast! First of many to come for sure! Gonna try and make it out mid may sometime after this semester finishes!
