what was that shooting across the sky

Saw something about 8:46. It was traveling from east to west slightly in the southern hemisphere. I viewed it for about 2 seconds as it traveled about 75 degrees around the horizon. It had a tail and it eventually burned out.

That was my American Flight into Houston! It felt like it was on fire and we hit every turbulence pocket known to man.

Saw it leaving restaurant with wife. It kinda wiggled.

When we got home, daughter and her friend said they saw it and it was a slow moving shooting star.

Obamas Health Plan.....look for it to crash and burn and leave a big hole in Oklahoma.

For a second I thought a neighbor was shooting a bottle rocket over me. We live a pretty good ways from city lights and see shooting stars all the time. I have never seen one last this long. I had enough time to say "what the h___" , jump up, run about 8 steps to make sure I didn't loose it behind the trees and then it burned out.

Meteor...my daughter and I saw one a couple of weeks ago over Garland. We saw it "burn" for a good 6-7 seconds. Several people talked about seeing it on FB. That's the first one I've ever seen. It looks nothing like a shooting star, trust me.
