Its that time of year again. Bass Spawn

I love it but haven't been able to spend much time on the water the last couple of springs. I thought this year was going to be different, took 3 days off next week to make a 5 day weekend (scheduled months ago) and just this last week realized that instead of 5 days on the water as I had planned it might be one afternoon if I am lucky!

pulled this girl and a 6lber out of lake Conroe last weekend then fished a tournament this weekend and couldn't find anything but about 30 small bass

Not sure....I'll ask her. I do know they tried sight fishing but none of their "regular" beds were holding fish. They caught this one in about 5' of water....right at 10lbs
