It was a good day! My wife and I met with my oncologist at MD Anderson today for an exam and a report on the blood work and the scans that I had yesterday.
She came in and said "I have good news and not so good news". "The good news is that the fluid in the plural cavity of your lungs has almost disappeared and the Tumor Markers have improved" This, to me was incredible news!
Then she said the bad new was that the tumor had not shrunk and that the nodes on the lining of my lungs had not shrunk either and neither had the lymph nodes.
I'm thinking to myself "THAT'S THE BAD NEWS??"
Basically, after only 6 weeks and 2 chemo treatments, everything is at bay!
Now, it get's better. She is modifying my chemo recipe and I only have to go for 1 day every 2 weeks instead of five, 8 hour days every 3 weeks! I won't have to wear that darn pump 24/7 and I will be able to get this treatment 10 minutes from my house.
I was thrilled. All of your prayers are working! My wife and I also made a major decision. Because of the incredible generosity of the people here on TBH and that we were able to get a refinance done on our house, we have decided to not to sell it.
You all are amazing and God is watching over all of us here.
