I'm going to Colorado on my first elk hunt first week of Sept. with some friends and need some pointers on a few good elk and cow calls. I've never used or even messed around with one so it's all new to me! What are some good easy to use calls?

get on line and buy everything elknut.com sells. Paul is an amazing elk hunter and knows his calls. Elk have become very well educated with the thousands of elk callers hitting the same 3 notes. Ya gotta learn different combinations and practice with real elk recordings. Elk do a lot of weird stuff. Learn it. Don't be the typical 3 note caller.
