Help! 12 x 12 Storage Building Material List? Cost?

I am going to be building a storage building soon behind my new home. I was hoping someone on TBH has an accurate materials list on exactly what I need to buy for a 12 x 12 storage shed with a slight pitch (not sure on pitch ratio). I will be doing everything myself and it will be on a foundation. If anyone has a list or examples of what they have done it'll be greatly appreciated.

    It will need:

    - double doors that open out to drive my lawn mower
    - two standard windows
    - 16 on 16 studs (preferably)
    - OSB siding (I'll add additional siding with old barn wood and tin, rustic look)

Something similar to this link: http://www.betterthanmostbarns.com/B...le_2-2014.html

    Any help it greatly appreciated!

I would go to Lowe's, they have a system program that can generate the B.O.M. and some renderings of what you want.

I thought so but the lady working the project desk at Lowes told me a contractor had to give me a material list and then they could draw it up as well as price. I thought that was strange because most people said they can give you a rough estimate on exactly what you want to build

Not on me but it was 4 sheets of treated 3/4inch plywood, 50 2x4s x8' ,12sheets of t111, 2 2x6 treated x16', 10 2x6 treated x8', 4 sheets of 3/8 plywood for the roof, 6 sheets of tin, and 30 1x4 x 8' treated for the trim and several boxes of screws. That's including the door hinges and lock.

Was that on a slab or you built a floor?

I come up with about $2100 in materials. 12x12 base of 2x8TYP with 3/4" T&G subfloor, 8' walls, (2) 3-0x3-0 windows, 6-0x6-8 Twin door unit, 4x8 Smart Siding 8"OC, OSB decking, GAF 3-tab shingles, etc. My point-of-sale email is down right now or I could just attach the materials list.

I am looking to build a 20x20 or 20x24 builiding for tool storage, cleaning and butchering shed, man cave, etc room. It will probably be turned into a pool house in the future.

I am wondering how much this will cost also. Is it cheaper to use a metal framed building or a use studs and frame it all up?
