    New lacy pup

We picked Bandera up Saturday from some nice folks out in Katy. Just like any other pup, she's a frisky little ankle biter. She does seem to be pretty intelligent in that she's already potty trained herself to those piddle pads. I'm looking forward to working with her and seeing what she can do as far as tracking and giving pigs hell.

Congrats on the monster! And trust me, she may be using puppy pads today, but she'll turn into a little terror. Little Lacys are far too mischievous and smart for their own good.

          What is a Lacy?

Never heard of them up here.

Congrats on the new Lacy. Mine (Diego) is the smartest dog I have ever owned. He was housetrained immediately. It was amazing!

I would suggest kennel (crate) training if possible. This will speed up the process.

They are great with kids when they grow up with them. They develop a very special bond with them. It's hilarious to watch my six year old son Roman goofing around with his brother and Diego grabbing ahold of Roman's shirt and pulling him around by it. He just likes to be in the middle of EVERYTHING and always wants to know what is going on.

            Have fun!
