Well guys I know it could be way worse, but I came home and found out my yellow lab got run over last night. He was the best I had ever trained and was a great friend. That boy sure had a way to melt your heart.
My neighbor knocked on my door and told me he found him still breathing but in bad shape. He sat with him and patted his head till he died. He buried him for me but kept his collar to give to me when he got home. He is a great person for doing that for me and I intend to pay him back somehow.
I saw Ragin's thread about the little girl being torn up about losing her dog, well I'm here to tell ya that grown men cry too. This was by far the best buddy I had ever trained and I was super proud of him. Love them while you have them.
