    Firepit build

I managed a late start and worked through the rain today. Decided to go with the rumblestone from home depot as others on here have. Also wanna give a Big shout out to the comcast technician who ran my cable line diagonally through my yard about 1 1/2" underground. I found it and it's now in 2 pieces. No service till a tech comes out on Wednesday.

Are the stones just stacked or are they connected some how?

Go for it man. I wanna say between sand, stone, and glue I'm only in it about 220$ and it was super easy. Prolly took me 2-2 1/2 hours to dig, pour sand, level and put the other layers on

Wife and I are talking about doing this. How will they hold up to the heat or will you line the inside with something else?

I'm gonna find out how it holds up to heat with nothing on the inside. Fire brick was like 25-28$ for 6 bricks. I have thought about lining the inside with firebrick mortar though.Oh and I plan on getting a 36" outdoor classics grate for some serious grilling

Atat did the same thing to me!!! Pit looks good tho! I am going to do something similar in the next few weeks... are you going to make it kind of rock flooring around it? My wife is wanting about a 4' border around it to put chairs on and what not
