Not too sure on that. We are fixing to put in now though and see if we can find some crappie.

I ran jugs on the west side of the lake starting at cow house creek and worked up the creek. Ran about 50-60 jugs. All I caught was a 5# yellow, bout 12 big gar and almost caught a 40-50# yellow (the dang hook came out while pulling in). Ran those is late April. Good luck, I've heard of people doing good near the ****.

Up and around the 36 bridge area. I know people that kill em up that way. Don't waste time in the cow house creek.

I used to fish around the big water intake on the Ft. Hood side.

You could try the river north and west of the 36 bridge, around Winkler Park area, may have to put in at Leona though, been a while since I've been out there.
