Can my 2001 F250 mirror be changed like this?

I'm wanting to change my rear view mirrors from the smaller ones to the larger ones.

If this possible?

yes there is a panel on the inside of the door, remove it, remove bolts to old mirror and install new mirror, door are all the same, should be a easy swap

Yeap. Easy to do. You can install the 2011-2014 mirrors on this also.

The year model is important if you have electric mirrors.

Turn signals, heaters, etc. are not on all years.

Not all of them are electric.

I need smaller ones. I think I have the record of 4 knocked off mirrors so far. Two on the street, one at the car wash, and one just fell off. LOL. Enjoy the those F250 mirrors.

Was following a guy with that type mirrors extended in SA when he happened to pass a UPS truck coming from the opposite direction on a narrow bridge. Looked like a glass bomb went off when the overlapping mirrors hit at 45 mph. Good thing they both had their door windows up--glass shrapnel everywhere.
