Fun trip out to the huntin' grounds

Went up to my place near Vernon today and saw a few interesting things.

First off: A late fawn? I saw this guy and his mom 3 different times. Looks pretty fresh, fully spotted.



It was hot enough that even the pigs were swimming. Only had a camera so all I could do was take a coupla pics.



Well, its raining somewhere!

Wally World in Vernon, right off 287. It was empty when I got there (the G-Love mobile, not Wally World; Wally World is never empty) and gone when I left.

Our lease is close to Kirkland on the Childress County line. Watching radar it looks like they have been getting a lot of rain up there. How did it look to you??? I need to get up and fill feeders but can seem to get out that way.

Wojo ya'll should be good. My place is still good and green, tanks are full. Still has mudholes in the road. There has been a lot more rain to the west of here (Wichita Falls) than we've gotten here in town. A buddy has some land near Paducah. I will check with him tomorrow to see how much rain they have had out there and let you know.

There was a storm up there about two weeks ago that blew my trailer over which should tell you the kind of weather that has been going on in that area.

WoJo ya'll should be in good shape. I talked to my buddy today and he said they've been getting a lot of rain in Paducah too. His brother planted his garden 3 times and it got washed out all 3 times. Your place is in between his and mine so you should have gotten it too.

That was the Nokona G-Love on the way to Colorado for the tournament I am working. I talked to the guy today and he said he stopped there on his way up.
