So im in the process of building a covered patio and recently built a cabinet with a sink for it and I have an older jen aire range top id like to install in it. Its probably 10-15 years old. I just went to the hardware store and got the reduced fitting to connect from the stove to the bottle and the clerk said instead of replacing the jets i should just have to tighten the housing on the current ones. It is set up like a ball point pen with a cap with a hole in it that unscrews and a insert inside the gas comes through. He said to unloosen it for NG and tighten for propane. They look all the way tightened to me but I will check this evening. Also i dont see a regulator anywhere to switch from NG to LP. Anyone have any experience with this type of setup?

Manual might be available on the Jenn Air site. Need a model number.

possible change the orifice size and might even be possible to need to adjust the gas pressure inside the gas valve as per different springs or set screws to adjust the pressure. I sure would need a manual before I go experimenting if you do have a video camera ready so we know what your eyebrows use to look like =)
