Houston area guys - I need a traffic report

I'm headed to Houston (Bellaire area) on Saturday. Just wondering where the construction zone bottlenecks are on the southbound side of I-45 these days. I'm trying to gauge how long it's going to take. Last time I went that way, southbound traffic was down to a crawl starting in Conroe. Sometimes I take the scenic route - not quicker but at least I can keep moving.

I think you should be ok with it being on a weekend.

I am with Natureboy. Weekend should be a breeze, and if there is any traffic, I would bet most of it would be going north or west.

There is still construction work between Conroe and The Woodlands on I45. Once you get past that you should have smooth sailing.

As stated, the trouble is between Conroe and The Woodlands. I think this will be even worse this weekend due to last minute shoppers in and out of The Woodlands Mall.
