    Trailer question

So we have a camper that we need to move but it doesn't have current tags on it. What do you need to register it in order to get tags?

We are moving it off the lease where it has been for about 7 years. I was bought from an old lease member but there is no title or anything on it.

Just trying to not get a ticket or anything since we will be pulling about 200 miles.

You can probably just get a temporary tag for it for a few days at the tax office. I'm bad about just taking my chances and hitting the road.

I believe that is true. Usually you can get a one or two day type pass.

So that would get it moved but if its a one time deal we are back in the same place once we have to move it again.

I'm not sure you can do much with no title. There was a title at some point so you may have to do some research and find out who's name it's in to get it done correctly.

It's called a one trip permit... We use it for our travel trailer when we have to move it every couple of years... Cheaper than keeping up the registration every year... Was $15 last time... Good for one day

We use temporary tags all the time. $5 at the tax office for a 1 day trip. Beats keeping current tags.

So you can do it more then once. If so that's what we are.
