Porterhouse is good. Ate there this last Wednesday. However, went to Backporch Grill on Thursday and their filet was better.

Lot to do in Hot Springs, I grew up there and my folks still live there. As above, Lake Ouachita is nice, so is Lake Degray. My choice would be to float the Caddo late spring from Glenwood down. I would concentrate more on the scenry rather than the tourist traps.

Garvin Gardens, bathhouse row/Nat Park, go hiking/camping on the Ouachita Trail, Degray State Park/lodge, smaller stuff like the Crater of Diamonds State Park, do a trip on 270 East of Hot Springs through the Saline River bottoms and visit the Jenkins Ferry Civil War battleground, etc. West of Hot Springs, Hickory Nut Mountian drive, Ouachita Pinnacle, miles of nothing.

It's kinda funny that you mention hot springs. I'll be spending the night there on this coming Sunday night on our way to Branson. We aren't planning on doing much, outside of the hotel room that is!

I have lots of family in Mena. They all swear they gave big foot evidence. Camp in the ouchita national forest and join them on their hunts.

Check out cossatot falls and cossatot park just south of mena. Also little Missouri falls. Lots of atv trails in that area. Queen Willamena is cool too.

Definitely go to the bath house and get the works.

                        You won't regret it.

There's a seafood restaurant called Cajun Boilers that's pretty good. Haven't been in a while but always good when we used to go

And as Razorback stated lake Degray is a great place to look into.
