What are y'all's opinions on the Colt LE6900? Anyone have 1? Can you give a review?

ipass, ts not even mil spec.
for a few more bucks, get the 6920 instead.
the 6900 isnt made by Colt, its licensed by colt, made by Anderson.
a quick google search w/give more info.

Isn't the 6900 Colts version of a carbon 15? Skinny barrel, no forward assist, no ejection port cover. I'd pass on it. It won't be long (hopefully) till the 6920s are back under the $1000 mark.

6920's are going for $1049 in the shops by me.

I think it would be silly to buy a 6900. Paying for the Colt name on a rifle that's not even a Colt.

But, I do know a guy with one. And he says he likes it. He also claims to shoot 3" groups at 500 yards with his AK, so not sure how reliable that source is.

Yes, the 6900 is outsourced and the Colt .22 AR is made by Umarex.

Also, I correct my previous post. The 6920 is $999, not $949 at Academy.

I checked them out when I was in the market and I didn't care for them at all. I took the advice of several on here and went with the 6920. Very glad I listened to them!
