    Rancho RS7000 shocks

Does anyone run these or have ran these shocks? I am looking to get some for my 2500hd.

I've ran enough ranchos to tell you to get bilsteins.

Close to the same cost for most applications and in my personal experience much better shocks.

I have ran bilsteins as well and they ride really stiff until you put a load on them than they feel good.

I don't know that I have ever talked to anyone that personally recommended ranchos for a non lift application.

A friend just broke a brand new rancho on his jeep. Literally broke it.
I too have ran enough ranchos to go with bilsteins

Ive heard ranchos are sub par. I'm running ProComps (their equivalent to the bilstein 5100) and I"m really happy with them on my F250. Use the search button for a thread about shocks I started a while back, You'll see bilstein is the most preferred.

This would have happened to any shock. Either the shocks are too short or his bump stops are not adjusted correctly.

                        Rancho RS7000 shocks

They're too short but that being said he put his old worn out bilstiens back on with the same length of travel and it hasn't happened to them.
Longer shocks or limiting straps are what he needs

I replaced my ranchos in my f350 last week with bilstein 4600. Very happy so far

I'm looking at replacing my Rancho 9000s adjustable. They lasted about 3 years on my 3/4 diesel. I really liked being able to adjust, since I am unloaded WAY more that loaded. NOt sure yet what I am going to replace them with..
