Any body know where to get a custom pair of Cowboy boots made and what to expect to pay. I know it depends on what you would want them made out of.

Expect to wait as said above, at least 6 months. Expect to pay $700+ for just the most basic of boots. An example is Lusky's in Fort Worth, for their stock boot that sells for $325, if you want it custom fit and made to your last, that jumps to $850 for the exact same boot.
I have a few pairs of customs, one on order now, and am about to order a pair of Leddy's.
This is was last updated in 2008, so it may be a little out of date. but:
If I was near him, this is who I would go to:

Yes, I'll admit that I've got a fetish for custom boots. Don't pull my man card on me, at least the fetish is for boots!
Pablo Jass in Lampassas is the best custom boot maker in the country. Incredible attention to detail, comfort, and toughness. They've also got a class all their own. Pablo made these two pair of dress boots. Problem is with Pablo, the dress boots are so tough that they never wear out for work boots!
The two work boots are by Clay Miller at Ramblin Trails Custom Boots in Cleburne. These are awesome. Rough Out Boar Hide. I've never had a pair of rough outs that were this tough. You can't scratch them.
