            Kurt 68,

I have found that if you donate those red arrows to someone else and find some of your damaged carbons and have them cut down to 24 or 25 " that they fly so much better and faster, i have done this for my 9 , 6, 5 ,4 year olds and it even improves their shooting, just cuz their arrows now look like yours! Give it a try and thanks for the pics. Tell your buddy keep slinging! We are proud of him to!

good idea, my boy is always wanting my arrows... never thought about cutting them down for him.

Nothing cooler than those arrows sticking about a half inch in the target and dangling to the ground. Always good to see the kids getting into it. No matter what equiptment you get for him make sure he has fun first.

Pin a $5 bill on the target and when he sticks it he gets to keep it. It makes for some great entertainment and relentless effort by your little hunting buddy!

                    Great pic!

That's the best idea I've heard for getting the kids going. Get them while they are young. Mine's 16 now and I'd have to pin a $100 on the durn thing. But, then I can send him to the grocery store for milk and bread while I'm still leaning back in the recliner, so I guess it's a trade off.

Fold that $100 up a couple times and if he tears it...it's his! I am sure that'll make you nervous knowing you have $100 bucks at stake.

Yeah, I'd fold that puppy a few times. I'd fold it enough that an arrow would bounce off of it!

But, then he'd just ask for the credit card... again, a trade off.
