My stepson is 12 years old and I am trying to get him into hunting. I have a older Browning Rage #55-#65. Im pretty sure he can't pull it back right now but in time Im sure he will. Do think its worth it to keep it and wait or sell it and buy a child bow?

My oldest boy had the Browning Micro Midas and shot it all the way up until last year at age 18. He killed a small mule deer buck with it last year and then we handed down to my 12 year old. You won't regret it!!!

There's a ton of bows that will grow with your son.
Hoyt has the Ignite and Ruckus
PSE has the Fever, Vision, Surge
Diamond has the Infinite Edge
Mission has the Menace, Craze, Riot, Rally, Flare
Bear has the Apprentice, Outbreak, Attitude
Winchester has the Thunderbolt
I pretty well listed them in the order of what I believe is the nicest on down in the list. Prices are all pretty comparable.
Hoyt and PSE seem to have the nicest bows in their lineup for smaller shooters. With Hoyt, many of their bows can be ordered with cams and limbs more appropriate for short draw and small shooters, at all skill levels. PSE has a handful of bows for short draw shooters in their lineup as well, including a serious comp bow.
I'm not a brand specific guy. My daughter shoots a Hoyt Ruckus, Mrs shoots a Diamond Razor Edge and I shoot an Elite. I will say of all the youth bows out there that we've looked at, the Hoyt has the best fit and finish in the field.
