    Spark Plugs

How often do you guys actually change them out? I am suppose to do it every 30,000 miles, which is coming up in the next month or so, but I have the Hemi with 16 plugs.............

AND THOSE ON THE BACK PASSENGER SIDE ARE A PAIN IN THE *** TO CHANGE!!!

I think I can maybe stretch a few more miles out of them....what ya'll think?

I havent changed spark plugs any any of my vehicles since the 80s. I have never notice a performance change between mile 1 or 100,000 either. Air filters and oil gets changed religiously.

I changed mine at 100,000 the first time and 160,000 the second time in my hemi. Over 190,000 now.

100,000 miles unless you notice a change in performance or fuel economy.

I did my Hemi at 100,000 and went back in with top of the line plugs. Your right 16 of them suckers.

Bought a set for my 97 1 ton Chebby when it got to a hunnertK... took the first old plug out, and after I wiped it off, couldn't tell the difference between the one I just took out and the new plug... put the old one back in an' took the new plugs back n got my money back... 160K and it's a ranch truck now sold to a buddy, but still goin' strong... replaced the wires, but them plugs is fine... Same deal with my '06 Z71 ranch truck... I did change em out at 156K when I took it to the ranch, but there wasn't anything wrong with the ones that were taken out far as I could tell... changin' plugs at 30K to me is a waste of money AND time...

Agree!!! Same as with the gear oil....says every 30,000, but I think that is a waste as well!!

Spark plugs are one thing they have figured out.....except for those older fords that like to eat them. Fuel Injection helps a lot too.

i pull mine every 50K and clean them up and put them back. If they look like they need it, I change them out.
