    Mlb tv

Well, about 7 months ago we made the decision to drop the satellite and the high monthly bill....I can honestly say that we have not missed it one bit because we rarely watch TV......but, with that being said, the time in which I have been dreading has arrived.....BASEBALL SEASON!!!

Anyone have a subscription to MLB TV and if so, is it worth it?!?

I know that the Rangers and Astros will be blacked out, but it said that the game is available 90 minutes after the conclusion......while I love me some Rangers...hell, I can sit and watch any team play!!

Any thoughts from anyone on it?

You can watch just about every game played if you get it, but they black out the texas teams. I had it last year and enjoyed it.

This was the sole purpose that I originally bought XM Radio several years ago. I love to watch the games, and do watch probably 130-140 of them a year, but when I can't, Eric Nadal paints a picture with words that I can see just as well....when they play at home. I have come to find out that most teams radio analysts are terrible.

I think if you have high speed internet you can get a MLB subscription on your computer and then hook your computer to your tv if you have the connection.

I bought it for 3-4 seasons, and they did manage to improve the graphics and overall viewing experience every season. Having said that, I did without it last season (and expect to do the same this season).

My reasons for watching/not watching are likely different than yours.

First, I live in an area (Central Texas) where almost every Rangers' game and a few Astros' games are on TV virtually every night, and there's just so much time one can devote to watching baseball.

Second, I bet baseball. I seriously bet baseball. And when I've got 3-4 games going at once, it's much preferable to watch them on ESPN's Gameday - better graphics, and easy to get all those games visible on the monitor at once with scrolled scores of all the other games.
