I would lean toward the cat being rabid and the dog being a wuss, if a bobcat jumped on any pits I've known his dead body would be there for rabies testing, if you were quick enough to get it before the dog ate it.

The story doesn't sit right with me for some reason. I don't believe any of that happened. Just seems sketchy.

That seems weird to me. My dogs hate cats and would have had that sucker buy both ends and only one is a pit mix . no doubt they woulda sustained some injury But the bob cat would not have walked away
