    any muffler guys here?

    thinkin about gettin my truck dueled out. any recommendations for muffler shops on the NW side of houston? or the SE side? i live in cypress and work in pasadena.

    whats the goin rate for gettin a truck dueled out now? last time i had it done was about 20 years ago.

            Deer park muffler on Center street does good work.

              Are you getting a muffler/mufflers? Is so price depends on which brand you go with. True duel or y pipe? Single muffler with a y pipe most likely around 275-350 ish, true duel will be more.

                Y pipe flow master with tips $450, true duel magna flow with tips $600 at tomball muffler

                  Whatever or wherever you get it done, go Magnaflow, not Flowmaster. Chambered mufflers like Flowmasters are nothing but restriction. Flow-through mufflers like Magnaflow will be your best bet.

                  BTW, its spelled "dual" (meaning 2) not "duel" (meaning to fight). Not being the spelling police, but it appears to offend some people.

                    Seems a little high. I had a truck true dualed out with a 14" Magnaflow and a pair 16"x3.5" of polished tips for $350 here in Nacogdoches. Surely things aren't that much more expensive in Houston.

                    That price may be for the branded kits that are made by the manufacturer. Ide suggest finding a shop that bends their own tailpipes. They can probably do the whole setup much cheaper.
